I leaned a fun fact about Wassailing last night. I always thought people would make a spiced cider and go door to door singing to one another but the true tradition of Wassailing is to take your spiced cider, gather a group of people if you can, and go out into the barns to sing to the farm animals, thanking them for their services to the farm and blessing their health through the winter. If you had an orchard you would take your spiced cider, walk into your orchards and sing to your trees. I love it! And I'm definitely going to do it this Christmas/Yule!
