When the last of the apples fall from the trees, the veil is thinning, it's near Halloween.

This is such a special, sacred time of year. Nature is ebbing into the cold shadows to wait out the long dark months of winter until the emerge again in the spring. It's during this time when the veil between the world of the living and the realm of them dead become thin and it's believed that the dead can roam the earth on Halloween night. That's why witches, warlocks and other magickally inclined folk like to use this time to connect with the spirits. I, being one of them. And that's why I created this candle.

They say giving an offering of spirits "alcohol" to the spirits will help tip their disposition in your favor. So when I saw these shot glasses I just knew I had to turn them into offering candles for Halloween and Samhain traditions.

Scented with Sweet Apple Bourbon, Toasted Pumpkin Spice and Cinnamon. One of my favorite autumn scent combinations, it's addicting. I rimmed the glass with white sage and black salt. Topped it off with obsidian and red agate crystals.

I made these candles under Octobers New Moon and Solar Eclipse.
